Team and skills training for 160 new apprentices and dual students

Paderborn/Salzburg, 10.09.2014. – From September 8-11, 2014, a team and skills training took place in Schloss Neuhaus for a total of 140 new apprentices and 20 dual students from all divisions of the BENTELER Group in the education and training center.

"The aim of this joint introduction days for trainees and students is to strengthen the “BENTELER feeling” and further develop personal and social skills", explains Thomas Koch, Head of Education at BENTELER.

In addition to numerous workshops and presentations from various business departments, subjects such as e-learning, "learning right" or the introduction of the continuous improvement process (CIP) were processed and presented in teams. A common plant tour was an opportunity to get a taste of the first production air. The total of 160 participants of this tutorial came from 14 Benteler locations, 111 of them from OWL. They start in ten technical and four commercial fields and six dual studies their career at BENTELER.

"With our strong presence in education, it is possible for the company to qualify their own professionals that we desperately need in times of demographic changes", says Thomas Koch. On November 8, 2014, the open doors day in the training and education center in Schloss Neuhaus will take place again.
